Jennifer Monet-Cowley, Artist-Curator

UTDallas Alumnus Jennifer Monet-Cowley will present her life as a creative professional. She is an artist, curator, and educator working in Oak Cliff Dallas. Her practice is distinctive in the hybrid nature of the material modalities that she operates across and her
distinct approach to exploring inter-sectional issues of race, gender, class, and culture.

She curates contemporary artist exhibitions at The African American Museum in Dallas. During the summer and throughout the year she organizes and manages its summer art camp and various workshops for children. She is currently collaborating on a permanent public art project for the
City of Dallas that honors Oak Cliff artist Arthello Beck Jr.
