Marilyn Waligore
Professor of Aesthetic Studies/Photography
Arts and Humanities
Marilyn Waligore investigates concepts of the everyday and the domestic sphere through her digital photographs of objects. Her scholarly articles have been published in Leonardo and Photography Quarterly.
Waligore has curated numerous group exhibitions, with an emphasis on digital media and photography and has exhibited internationally in Hong Kong, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Thailand, as well as in venues throughout the United States. She has won numerous awards and honors and her work is included in museum collections such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Currently a professor of Aesthetic Studies/Photography, she holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
