Peter McCord
Assistant Professor of Instruction
As an Assistant Professor of Instruction, Peter McCord’s research revolves around lighting and compositing techniques, render engines, production workflows and animated shorts. He presently teaches courses in lighting and compositing for 3D animation.
His industry experience includes working as a lighting and composing artist on a variety of films, commercials, and animated short projects which include Free Birds, The Book of Life, and Rocket Dog. Peter holds a BA and an MFA in Arts and Technology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
