Undergraduate Academic Advisor
Kelley was raised in Amarillo, TX where she spent the majority of her time hiking, playing music, and making peace with her nerdiness. She took courses at the University of North Texas and West Texas A&M University before finally earning her B.A. in Literary Studies at UT Dallas in 2013. While completing her degree, Kelley worked in the UT Dallas Career Center where she spent seven years helping students with career development and internship advising. In 2018, Kelley joined ATEC as an Academic Advisor. She enjoys building relationships with students, alumni, faculty, and employers that will help students achieve their academic, personal, and career-related goals.
When she is not working, Kelley can be found spending time with her best friend and partner Jeremy, reading or writing fiction, laughing with friends on a patio somewhere, or cuddling with her two dogs, Pippin and Jake. Kelley recently completed her Master of Arts in Humanities (also from UT Dallas), and she is a member of the LEAP Initiative where she serves on the Advocacy Committee.
