Christopher Camacho
Associate Professor of Instruction
While Christopher Camacho’s focus spans several disciplines including animation, rigging, lighting and composition, and modeling and texturing, his passion centers on creating animated shorts.
Camacho has contributed to several video game titles such as Borderlands 2, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Borderlands: The Presequel, Battleborn and associated downloadable content. While working at Gearbox Software, he assisted developers with testing scripted sequences, level layout, character AI and many other aspects of the development process. He also worked as a Technical Director with Element X to create a character rig to help students learn the art of animation. Camacho currently teaches the introductory courses for the animation department as well as motion graphics.
