As a Senior Lecturer at ATEC, Elizabeth Boyd’s specialties are 3D modeling and texturing/surfacing. She is also a 3D generalist in rigging, lighting, rendering/compositing, and character design. While working at Reel FX, Boyd was lead character modeler for the feature film The Book of Life. She also built characters, props, and environments for the film Rock Dog.
Having earned an MFA in Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas, Boyd he continues to teach courses in ATEC including Modeling and Texturing I, Modeling and Texturing II, Animation Studio I, Animation Studio II, Senior Seminar, and 3D Character Sculpting.
