Motion Capture : Marker Positions for the UTD Standard Skeleton

Notes:

• Leave at least two marker diameters between two markers.
• A marker that is not on a joint should be off centered so that it will not form a straight line with the two adjacent markers that are on joints.
• Non-joint markers should be placed asymmetrically, e.g., the marker on the middle of the right forearm should be higher (or lower) than the one on the middle of the left forearm.

	Not a good example! The two markers on the hand should be further from the marker on the wrist. See the photo below.
