 Mid-term Research Presentation

Description:

Select a topic (e.g. a latest technological development, innovative application, current research issue) in the area of motion capture that interests you, read at least two "printed" papers or articles related to the topic, and write a report on the selected subject.

The papers/articles must be selected from professional or academic journals or conference proceedings, e.g. the Computer Graphics (ACM SIGGRAPH Conference Proceedings), Leonardo (Journal of the International Society for Arts, Sciences, and Technology), the Journal of Visualization Computer Animation, and CineFex. Scholastic and professional publications have editorial boards or jury that select papers/articles. Trade magazines and web sites are allowed only in a special case.

  • Use the APA or MLA refecene method.
  • Use font size 10 and double line spacing.
  • Minimum 5 pages.
  • Make a 15 minutes in-class presentation. (Don't just read your paper but make points.)
