PhD Advisor/Program Specialist
Christine Messick joined ATEC as an Academic Advisor in 2010. With a background in the visual arts, she has a passion for the creative process.
Messick’s previous work in higher education has included academic advising at Dallas County Community College (DCCCD), along with program administration of DCCCD’s college preparatory program for underserved high school students, Upward Bound. She continues to pursue professional development in the areas of arts and technology as well as academic advising in higher education through classes, conferences, and membership in the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). Messick holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from New College of California and a BA in Liberal Arts from Indiana University.
